Canine problem solver!

This is one of those feel good videos

It was Disability Awareness Day at Fenway Park, and an autistic young man was performing the national anthem. Partway through he gets a bad case of nerves, and the crowd comes through with supporting cheers, and then by taking up the song.

He just wants to say "hi"

By Suzanne Clothier Note: This is an abbreviated version of He Just Wants to Say HI! Please see the full length version for more complete information. Sitting quietly on the mall bench beside my husband, I was minding my own business when the man approached. I glanced up as the man sat next to me. He was a bit close for my comfort, so I edged a little closer to my husband who, busy reading a book, ignored me. Still feeling a bit uncomfortable with the strange man so close, I then turned my head slightly away from him, politely indicating I was not interested in any interaction. To my horror, the man leaned over me and began licking my neck while rudely groping me. When I screamed and pushed him away, my trouble really began. My husband angrily threw me to the ground, yelling at me "Why did you do that? He was only trying to be friendly and say hi! What a touchy bitch you are! You're going to have to learn to behave better in public." People all around us stared and

Tell Nancy Pelosi to Impeach Dick Cheney

House Resolution 333 for the impeachment of Vice President Dick Cheney is off the House floor, and has instead been sent to the Judiciary Committee for "further study." This maneuver, organized by Nancy Pelosi and the Democratic leadership, is consistent with their mantra that impeachment is "off the table." But, we are told Nancy Pelosi is reported to have replied to the question of impeachment that if she received 10,000 hand written letters she would proceed with it. What are we waiting for? Send your hand written letter here: NANCY PELOSI OFFICE OF THE SPEAKER H-232, U.S. CAPITOL WASHINGTON, DC 20515

Britney Spears is an asshole

Yeah, she's a druggie, and dead-beat mom, and a talentless 'ho, but this is going to far: Britney: I'm Tannin', So I'll Park Where I Want! From TMZ.com Britney Spears may have several different maladies, but being physically handicapped isn't one of them. But that didn't stop the popwreck from parking her car in a handicapped spot in front of a tanning salon in North Hollywood on Saturday. When mama needs to get her tan on, she can't be bothered with signs!

Dog, cat honored for saving masters

Image
NEW YORK (AP) -- When Debbie Parkhurst choked on a piece of apple at her Maryland home, her dog jumped in, landing hard on her chest and forcing the morsel to pop out of her throat. When the Keesling family of Indiana was about to be overcome by carbon monoxide, their cat clawed at wife Cathy's hair until she woke up and called for help. For their nick-of-time acts, Toby, a 2 1/2-year-old golden retriever, and Winnie, a gray-eyed American shorthair, were named Dog and Cat of the Year by the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. In addition, five humans were honored Thursday for their actions toward animals in the past year, including a Bronx firefighter who saved a dog and cat from a burning building. Neither Parkhurst nor Keesling could explain their pets' timely heroics, though Parkhurst suggested her pooch's Heimlich maneuver might have been guided by divine intervention. "That's what our veterinarian said," she said. "He wasn'
